2010 brings a new era for Dubstep. One where it edges ever closer to the main stream of things knowing that it will never truly belong. As 2010 draws nearer its end here is my opinion on this years Top Ten Downloaded Dubstep remixes.

#10La Roux - I'm Not Your Toy (Nero Dubstep Remix)

Though this track is slow to start and has a few almost boring sections in the remix it still managed to make #10. Nero (producer and Dj) Seems to be flooding the internet with what seems like hundreds of dubstep remixes downloadable for free. thanks Nero

#9Excision & DatsiK - Swagga dubstep remix

Many people may argue that this remix deserves a higher position in the 2010 top 10 most downloaded Dubstep Remixes but that really depends on which type of dubstep you like. This remix by Excision and Datsik is on the hard dark raw side. With strangling basslines and not much hope for a melody. Still a great download though.

This emotional dubstep remix by mount eden really stamps his trademark sound. Seems like he goes for remixes of deep and almost sad songs from the past. like this one.

Do you have to like Rihannas music to like this song? dont know. wasnt a huge fan but I cant argue with the numbers. this rude boy dubstep remix by Chrispy enters the top 10 2010 list unexpectedly but none the less deserves respect for gaining this much attention.

I am not a huge fan of this remix but the view count on youtube and download count speaks for itself. #3 on this top 10 list is well deserved and enjoy adding this track to your playlist.

by metaphi. In particular what makes this track so sick and puts in number 2 on the top 2010 dubstep remix chart is that damn snare with the crazy echo or delay on it. Sick and well done metaphi. Youtube has rewarded this song with millions of views.

Mt. Eden's Dubstep remix of Lisa Miskovsky's - Still Alive is on the softer side of the dubstep remix scene in my opinion because it is lacking one of those brain thumping rythymless basslines. I quite enjoy this beauty by Mt Eden and find it deserving of its number one place as the 2010 top 10 most downloaded and listened to dubstep remix. Congratulations and I cant wait to see what dubstep remixes Mt eden comes out with in 2011 and beyond.

This "top ten dubstep remixes downloaded in 2010" List is my personal opinion mixed with you tube view count numbers and torrent site download figures. Im sure there are a million different dubstep remixes floating around the internet that could easily replace a track on this list but these top 10 seem to have been most played during 2010.

Seems like every year the top 10 lists pop up in the last month of the year. In 2009 Many top lists didn't surface until 2010.

Dubstep in my opinion is almost still an underground remix genre that is on its way to mainstream.

Im listening to their work as I type this and I am bobbing my damn head. Both these talented new zealand natives grew up in the dj and electronic music scene and have since added some sweet mixes and remixes to the vast amount of music online.

Mt Eden Dubstep is mostly produced dubstep now days but in their humble beginning they dabbled in drum and bass. Ive downloaded almost all Mount Edens work and the majority is Dubstep

Jesse Cooper is the main force in this crew and has only recently started working with Harley Rayner. He is 21 now. Started when he was 16.

Mt. Eden Dubstep is a very valuable addition to the Dubstep scene and I cant wait to see what they have to offer in the future.

I was recently reading an article online that said lady gaga has surpassed the president as the most influential person in the world. I wonder what it feels like to have that kind of power at your fingertips.

If per chance any dj's or producers read this I would love to hear a remix of lady gaga with some bassnectar tracks.

If you haven't already visited Lady Gaga's Official Website, do so now. I was surprised to find not a single remix there. I guess she is too busy creating the originals to worry about the remixes.

I also find myself spending a lot of time on youtube lately and I recommend visiting Lady Gaga's Youtube video channel - LadyGagaVEVO. Not only does it have every one of gaga's videos that are out right now and songs but it also has many links to what is happening right now with her career and music.

Got something to say about lady gaga or just want to hear the latest gossip? Visit Lady Gaga's Official Site Forum and join the masses who are chatting about her right now. There is also a section in the forum where dj's post the latest remixes of lady gaga that they have produced. Forums are also a great way to communicate with like minded people on a shared music interest. Beware though, there are many a mean troll out there waiting to insult you so you should have a thick skin when entering this world.

There was a rumor floating around the net saying that a Dj had been challenged to remix lady gaga's entire latest record in the dubstep fashion. He was quoted as saying "I could do it, but I have better things to do with my time". Dj Mike Vetty had done a great job of remixing one of the Lady's tracks, which is soon to be released, and that is why he was put up to the challenge.

I will be posting links to more Lady Ga ga ga remixes as I find them if they are worthy. The Main genre of remixes that I like are Dubstep, Breakbeats, House, and Hip Hop.
